New book by Gestalten featuring our Hanging Garden for Filmhuis Den Haag.
“A Delicious Life showcases today’s new food movement and the people behind it. The book takes us into the workplaces and minds of groundbreaking foodists who are fine-tuning cooking, baking, and brewing methods; rediscovering long forgotten ingredients; developing cutting-edge new recipes; and creating exceptional experiences around food”
Another new book by Sandu featuring our Ikha Restaurant, came out more or less in the same period.
(Probably the only time Filmhuis Den Haag will be mentioned next to Noma)
We recently finished a new interior for the Filmhuis Den Haag restaurant.

Happy to announce we (Oatmeal Studio) are featured with the IkHa restaurant in the nov/dec issue of Frame
IkHa Restaurant
Filmhuis Den Haag 12 may -12 july 2012
This temporary restaurant, ‘IkHa’, is the latest creation of Oatmeal Studio, who were
asked to create a temporary interior for the restaurant based on the the theme ‘Ikea
Hack’ to coincide with the Nordic Film Festival.
IkHa is a dining experience in which the concept of IKEA has been dismantled and
translated into a restaurant interior. It’s not a self-service restaurant in the usual sense
of the word. Instead, visitors are invited to participate and customize their surroundings
while dining.
It´s possible to rent the IkHa restaurant,
please contact us for more details.
FYI- IKEA was not involved in this project.

It has been a bit quiet around here.
The last months have been quite busy, making other projects and starting up a company with a friend.
Oatmeal studio is run by Rosa Dalle Vedove and me, we do allround styling projects.
At the moment working hard to get our website up and running. Until then find us on Facebook
Here are some pictures of one of our projects- a hanging garden at the restaurant of the Filmhuis in Den Haag Netherlands. We even got a honorable mention in De Groene Amsterdammer – specially mention our hanging garden – we couldn’t be more happy!
